Women working in Victoria's Vegetable and Fruit industries are encouraged to apply now for the 2011-12 'Women in Horticulture' program.
This FREE education and training program is provided by the Federal Governments Farming Future Program.

The program aims to enhance the capacity of women in vegetable & fruit growing and production businesses, and to encourage them to engage with their own and related industries.
Fifteen women from across Australia will be selected to become part of a new network of like-minded women that are passionate about their community and industry.
Participants will bring a range of experiences from a variety of regions and cultural backgrounds.

'I really enjoyed the opportunity to mix it
with other women around Australia while also learning and being able to ask the hard questions',
said one of last years participants.
Activities include 10 interactive online classes covering topics such as production, sustainability and leadership development.
The project also includes a two-day conference in Adelaide to network and take part in practical workshops.
Registrations close on Friday, 22nd of July
